2015 Bottega Cup Club Division Final Standings!

Congrats to Elizabeth Anderson and Logan Scully who have earned a tie for the 2015 Bottega Cup Club Division Championship!  This is a great addition to their summer trophy case which includes a bronze medal from the USA Junior Beach Tour National Championship and fifth place finishes from the USA Volleyball Beach High Performance Championship!  Great work ladies!

Congrats to all of the athletes who competed in the 2015 Bottega Cup Championship.  The top 10 finishers will receive invitations for the Beach VBC 2015 Northwest Junior Championship starting at the end of August!

AVPFirst Manhattan Beach Junior Invitational Qualifiers!

Eight beach volleyball teams won bids to be part of the first ever AVPFirst Manhattan Beach Junior Invitational tournament this weekend.  The teams battled through warm weather and exceptional competition earn the chance to represent the Puget Sound Region at one of the most prestigious venues in all of beach volleyball, Manhattan Beach!

Junior Club Division Bid Winners!

AVPFirst Junior Open Division Podium Finishers All Got a Bid!

Maya and Bailey claimed a U16 bid with a third place finish in the Open Division.

Claire and Isabel claimed a bid after winning a 5th place playoff!

Bottega Cup Series Club Division Standings

Elizabeth Anderson and Logan Scully will go into the third round of the Bottega Cup Junior Club Division Championship with the slimmest of leads over Maddie Ryan, Olivia Morgan and RJ Quiban.  Anderson and Scully have already qualified this year for the Puget Sound Region Beach High Performance Team and the USA Junior Beach Tour National Championships.  This weekend they will be trying to claim a spot in the AVP Manhattan Beach Junior Invitational.

Madison and Maia Nichols will be playing their second Bottega Cup event of the summer and after winning the future select division of the PSR Beach HP Qualifier on May 31, look to be the favorites to win the AVPFirst Manhattan Beach Junior Invitational Qualifier this weekend.  Samaya Morin and Tatum Smith will be looking to move their names up the Bottega Cup Standings after a second place finish in the Future Stars Division of the PSR Beach HP Qualifier.

Bottega Cup Junior Open Division Standings

The Bottega Cup Championship is in full swing and Whitney Walker has taken the early season lead with a pair of wins with different partners.  Walker and Lauren Sanders won the May 9 Rox Volleyball Series Qualifier.  Two weeks later, Walker won the Select Division of the Puget Sound Region Beach High Performance Qualifier with Sophia Lawrence.

The Cup title is far from decided and one of the toughest challenges of the season is coming together for this weekend's AVPFirst Manhattan Beach Junior Invitational Qualifier.  The open division field includes Cyrene Hertzog and Deahna Kraft, who will be looking to make a big leap up the leader board after they won the Youth Division of the PSR Beach HP Qualifier last weekend.  Hertzog won the inagural Bottega Cup Championship in 2013 and has since become a regular competitor at the Women's level and verbally committed to play sand volleyball at the University of Hawaii.  Her partner, Kraft is verbally committed to play sand volleyball at Pepperdine.
