Beach VBC and Bottega Fitness Park have announced that they
will combine forces for the 2015 season to create the premier beach volleyball
training and competition facility in the Pacific Northwest. The Bottega Beach Volleyball Training Center
will be managed by Beach VBC and provide high quality beach volleyball training
sessions, tournaments, camps, clinics, parties, drop in challenge courts and
more.
“Karen (Hart) and I are extremely excited about this
opportunity to team with Beach VBC to make this the hub for beach volleyball in
the Puget Sound region. Mati (Bishop) shares the same vision which will allow
us build this into an elite program for juniors and adults alike. We feel this
is just the beginning of great happenings for beach volleyball in the Snohomish
area,” said Scot Hart, owner of Bottega Fitness Park.
“Having a facility where we can provide a combination of
training programs and opportunities for the athletes to compete on a regular
basis is going to help our athletes develop and grow much more quickly,” said
Mati Bishop, director of Beach VBC.
“We’ve been working for a long time now to combine forces
with Bottega and offer the best all-around beach volleyball training and
competition experience in the Pacific Northwest,” he continued.
“Having a facility where we can provide a combination of

One of the keys to the success of Bottega Fitness Park has
been the fun, family friendly atmosphere and that is something that will
continue under the new partnership.
“Scot and Karen have created an amazing environment at
Bottega. Families love to go to
tournaments there because it is easy to park and has tons of room for
seating. It’s got a cool combination of
a backyard barbeque atmosphere with a day at the beach mentality,” said
Bishop.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing that atmosphere
combined with our fast paced, high energy beach volleyball training
sessions. With those two things
together, we will see our athletes have a great time while they are becoming
great players and that is what we are all about,” he concluded.
Although the beach volleyball season does not traditionally
get started in the Pacific Northwest until mid-April, Beach VBC and Bottega are
working on a collection of events that will bring awareness to the sport
through the winter. Among the ideas
being considered are a polar bear tournament in late December, offseason
conditioning classes, nutrition classes, college recruiting seminars and
more.
More information about upcoming events at Bottega Fitness
Park will be announced through both BeachVBC.com and
