Long Overdue USAV Beach High Performance Championship Kudos!

Qualifier season in the Pacific Northwest has come and gone and that means that our top athletes have set out to travel around the country and test their beach volleyball talent against the best competition available.  This year, the girls from Beach VBC and Snohomish County have seen incredible results in their quest.  Here are some of the highlights:

Bailey Nelson and Maya Watkins put up a Puget Sound Region best 5th place finish in the U17 Select Division of the USA Beach High Performance Championships! 

Elizabeth Anderson and Maddie Nichols finished tied for 5th in the U13 Future Stars Division.  Logan Scully and Teagan Chueng were teamed up as a USAV HP Team and also finished tied for 5th.  Great work ladies!  The future is bright!

USA Beach HP Notable Finishes

U17 Select-  Maya Watkins and Bailey Nelson T5th Overall
U17 Select-  Natalie Robinson and Whitney Walker Division 2 Winners (31st overall)
U17 Select-  Grace Jarnigan and Kiley Lewis Finished T45th Overall

U19 Youth-  Cyrene Hertzog and Deahna Kraft, Division 2 winners, 31st overall

U19 Youth-  Hannah Pukis and Camryn Buell, finished with a 3-4 record. 
U19 Youth-  Kat Anderson and Mina Duong, finished the event with a 3-7 record.  

U13 Future Stars-  Elizabeth Anderson and Maddie Nichols finished tied for 5th. 

U13 Future Stars-  Logan Scully and Teagan Chueng finished tied for 5th. 
U13 Future Stars-  Kaia Jones and Piper Smith finished 12th.  

U15 Future Select-  Camy Baklenko and her partner finished 11th after winning the silver bracket.  Camy was part of the USAV HP Program.  

U15 Future Select-  Alli Hansen and Jana Merca and Katie Biscocho and Julia Bray finished the event tied for 35th.  

Piper and Kaia got a chance to meet AVP and USA Volleyball Pro Brooke Sweat in Hermosa!  

Kat, Maya and coach Mati got a chance to see Lauren Fendrick and Brooke Sweat Practice.  The pros were stoked to take some time out of their schedule to chat with the next generation of Beach Volleyball Pros!
