This weekend many of the athletes who have been training so hard this spring put their skills on display and the results were exciting to say the least.
Bailey and Natalie lost an exciting semifinal of the U14 division to come in tied for third place. Amanda and Valentina won an exciting battle to their training partners Nichole and Lauren and came up tied for fifth in the U16 division. Lauren and Nichole finished tied for 9th. For the second week in a row, Cyrene and Natalie played up and won the collegiate U20 division. Lastly, congrats to Sophie and Katelyn who took to the sand together as a team for the first time and finished second in the U16 silver bracket. Not a bad first event together and first event for Sophie ever.

Coming up this weekend is the USA Volleyball High Performance Qualifier Tournament at Bottega. The competition is going to be fierce as teams from all over the Region try to earn a bid to the prestigious USA Volleyball High Performance Championship Tournament in Hermosa Beach this July. If you are free Saturday or Sunday, come on out to Bottega and see some of the best beach volleyball in the Region.
