Get Up Close and Personal with the Pros as a Volunteer at the AVP Seattle Open!

Members of Beach VBC and volleyball fans from throughout the Puget Sound Region will have the opportunity to be up close and personal with the AVP Pros at the 2015 Seattle Open!  Volunteering is a fun way to be part of the event.


Positions Available

1. Ball Shagger: Work directly with the professional athletes and AVP Officials to chase down the balls and hand them to the athletes before each serve. Volunteer may be televised and should be prepared for working in direct sunlight. Volunteer should be able to move quickly in sand.

2. Score Keeper: Work directly with the AVP Officials to keep track of live scores. Volunteer should have a general understanding of volleyball scoring.

3. Court Manager: Assists the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure each court is properly set with volunteers at all times, as well as makes sure volunteers are staying hydrated and using sun block.

4. Welcome Center Assistant: Assist with checking in guests or players in at the Welcome Center.

5. Statistics: Work with AVP Officials and Staff to keep track of player statistics.

6. Float: Assistance will be needed in areas of the event such as hospitality, Welcome Center, on-court promotions, ushers, etc.
